I've bought a new clutch boot since the old one was ripped. The new on sits loose on the recess on the clutch arm so it does not have a tight seal. The old one was very tight and sealed properly around the recess so  i guess it should have a tight fit and not loose, like the new boot?

It should push on fairly easily but there is a metal band that goes around it to stop it from pulling off again.

The problem is not around the recess on the gearbox I think I misunderstood the part with "metal ring" around the boot.

The boot doesn't seal on the clutch arm, it is a loose fit. Should it be tight?

Yes, it should be fairly tight but not hermetically sealed tight. If you undo the clutch cable from other end of the clutch arm then it may fall out like in the picture above.

Do you still have the remnants of the old one?  New and old should be just about as snug.

Not sure if it ripped while I took it off because it was tight, and yes I saved it for some reason but it is not at my home address. But I remember I was tight and not loose, which made me wonder when I compare the new boot

Do you know if the tills.de part is from BMW or a third party?

I've replaced lots of them with the BMW OEM part and never had an issue.

I'm pretty sure it is not original parts. They have different seals made in viton which is guess is not original? also the packaging does not look like BMW OEM parts..

In that's case then I'd email their sales support and request a refund.

I've always had good luck buying stuff from Motobins(UK). They have BMW OEM parts at an OK discount.
