When all those unique cafe bikes come out of the weeds behind the shed in 10-15 years those loops will be worth their weight in unobtanium.  Brilliant move, Martin!

It's probably the last day at the Trades Guild today, we were down to five on Tuesday. So I'm taking the loop to the guild and seeing if I can get it mounted on a nice piece of timber and mount it on my garage wall.

While it is definitely possible, re attaching the loop with welding rods somehow parallels the sanity in removing it in the first place

A much bemoaned move, is there anything else that is invariably down to K bikes that members on the forum get wound up over? I'm thinking clip-on handlbars, those big Firestone tires, wrapping the exhaust...

OOOO now there's an idea, the plaque now resides on my garage wall. I was contemplating mounting a large 78mm BMW  badge on the plaque and make a clock out of it. I think I might have too much time on my hands.
