Hi all

There was some discussion on here a little while ago about indicator lens, so I thought I would post a pic of my RS with the white lens fitted. I personally think it looks a little anaemic and could do with some colour but cost over legal requirement and the need to put fuel in meant I couldn't justify close to £50 per lens, these were £40 for the lens and bulbs, I do however think they should include new screws as these could be lost (mine weren't).

Anyway, here's a pic of white lens on a light blue RS.

Did you change the bulb holders? Amber bulbs have a different locating pin configuration to clear bulbs.

No, they just swapped straight over. I just had a quick look at the old ones and they are the same bar the colour, I don't know if they have been changed prior but both bulb ends are identical.

O.E. amber bulbs don't have the locating pins at 180 degrees, they are offset at about a 150/210 degrees. Of course a quick look on the Googly search revealed that they are also available with 180 degree pins. Another bit of information added to what's left of the old memory, probably replacing something more important that I've already forgotten.  

I didn't know they were different, I must have just been lucky, although I would have been proper annoyed if they hadn't fitted. I'll have to remember that when I need spares.
