I've been watching the videos from GS Vintage for awhile now, especially during this past wintry Canadian winter, and they are an absolute pleasure.  Great video, great sound, great editing and the European scenery is spectacular.  

Someone, somewhere did a custom K in a style similar to this R69.  It was painted black but I have never been able to find the picture of it again.  I am completely smitten with the lines of this bike.

Definitely on the right track but my very hazy and quite likely unreliable memory wants to say that it was still closer in shape and lines to the R69.  Regular forks as well.  And the exhaust wasn't so badass.  Don't get me wrong Chris, I like this one.  I like it a lot, and I have saved the image (something I should have done with the other image obviously).

Perhaps it's a Special K, like Robmack's, you're referring to. Go online and search for Special K. It was a Larry Romestant build from several or more years back, before the Kagusta. I'd look for a piccie myself but I'd have to pull myself out of this Lazyboy and reaching for the wineglass is work enough. It's a first world problem, I'm told.

Might have been a PS Special after all.     I remember seeing it right around the time I got my K.  Might have been while I was still on the hunt.  It had been on the web page of a local BMW group but that page has been taken down.  I might just have to go off the web and do that old fashioned practice and call someone from that group.

And speaking of 3d printers, the tech is still a ways off but I had heard the idea floated for parts being made to order at some point in the future.  Amazing possibilities there for aftermarket parts but the digitising technology will have to be developed equally as much.

Still not that one Rob but that is an amazing project.  Either you or Chris, your next custom build perhaps?

Yeah. I could really see myself on that steed. Classic motorcycle porn, that. It'd be quite a build seeing all the custom work that needs to be done.
