My K75s has no barend weights and the grips are sealed at the end and they are not heated. There is a bit of vibration at hwy. speed that I would like to get rid of.
Can anyone see a problem with me simply cutting off the rubber end of the grip and installing a weight?
Or maybe filling the bars with lead shot, or Liquid Barsnake? http:/www.barsnake.com/
Thanks,
Chris

Nope, I put some end weights on my 100 RS. Just make sure you get the right size of the rubber fittings. It's a European bike with 22mm inner diameter. Inches are not known in K-ermany Barend weights Icon_biggrin

Manic Salamander barend weights are sold online. His barend weights are made for K-bikes and they are supposed to be better than BMW's.

I fitted the heaviest Throttlemeister-brand weights/cruise control I could. The benefits are many but the ability to set a tension on the throttle grip for easing the strain on the right hand wrist/elbow on longer voyages is excellent.

If you find your model's not listed simply buy a generic version and request the adapters for a 22mm inside diametre 'bar. Or, if your 'bar's insides have a threaded end, buy the appropriate length 8mmx1.25mm allen head bolt and away you go!

I went with the Manic Salamander bar-end weights, beautifully made.
Unfortunately, they didn't seem to help so perhaps I'll try a pair of grip puppies. Not a big problem just noticeable after an hour or so riding.
