Hi Guys
Just purchased a winter project - a non running 44,000 mile 1987 K75C that has had quite a bit of work done to it. The owner parked it up in the garage many years ago and his son has spent the last year working on it. His mom eventually got fed up with it taking up space in the garage and I think the boy also lost interest in the project.
I have started working my way through the bike and came across a pipe coming out of the crankcase just below the radiator and above the timing cover. This pipe then inserts onto another thicker pipe which is terminated with a hex nut i.e. it doesn't connect anywhere. I can't find any info on the function of the pipe and am curious about it. My 85 K100 does not have one.
Here is a picture. Appreciate any info.
