"Souvereign Acceleration & Impressive Elasticity" - BMW's ad copy editor certainly is expressive, but translations from German oftentimes are awkward.

I have been following the development, curious as to what clever tricks the latest iteration of the Boxer will have to meet Euro 5 emissions whilst delivering yet more power (mid-130s, up from low 120s) and reasonable fuel mileage. The CC increase from 1170 to 1254 is a given, but whether anyone needs it or not, this is how Bay Em Vay have accomplished it with der neue R1250 Wasserboxer.

Similar to the N62/63 V8sand N72/73 V12s that were produced in the 5 and 7 series and X5s from 2004 to present. Daz have a look through that big red book you're gonna bring and it might show it.

That heavy, red book? It's buried in the centre of a large duffle, surrounded by K bike spares and bubblewrap. Mebbe later.
