Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."   Dalai Lama

Hope that wasn't a good tank to start with. A bloke near me has his postbox made from an old evinrude outboard motor, always made me smile!!

It looks like it ended it's life as a pretty straight tank. Sometimes you cant do anything but laugh ya arse off 177381 I wonder if he has the key for the cap, and he still might still have the sender and the pump. If he'd take $20.00 AU it would be worth a punt. Sometimes you cant do anything but laugh ya arse off 652573

Regards Martin.

I wouldn't worry about the key for the cap, you don't need it. A Sidecar Paul hole will open it and you can then rekey it with a file to suit your ignition key. Its worth it for the cap assembly alone.

If you get the whole assembly as in what you get when you take out the 4 screws when you need to get at the fuel pump it will have everything. Once you have that you can get the clock open and re key it. If you get a cap assembly without a key from a breakers you can drill the Sidecar Paul hole and you will have a fully functioning gas cap.
