Thanks for that. It's the first time I've seen a tank shifter and maybe a foot clutch in action on a BMW. There is a lever on the left side of the bar so it's unclear to me whether the rider is matching revs to shift or is using a foot clutch.

He does not use the clutch He he shifting with the gas handle as usual when you are quickshifting. Pressure on the shifter, quickly close and open the throttle and the next gear is in.
I do not think the bike is modified with a ignition cut out button.
The hassle in this case is that the shifter is on the same side as the throttle.
