I've owned my Royal Blue '92 K100RS 16V since new. I've ridden it across the country four times the biggest of which was the run up to Deadhorse Alaska from Washington DC
and back again.

Washington DC to Deadhorse, Alaska

I have 123,000 miles on it which are almost all touring miles.

It is now, finally, after 26 years starting to develop some issues.

Welcome! I just sold my 1992 16V K100RS to a friend. It has 129,000 miles and had several issues when I got it that I was able to correct. The worst was excessive oil consumption(600-800 miles/quart) which, according to my friend is down now to 2000 miles/quart since running about 1000 miles with a half quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in the crankcase.

I'm pretty sure the brain trust here can have your bike back to near showroom reliability and performance.
