Helppp...
Recently i have replaced intake manifolds on my K100 and finished vacume test. Now i have an issue.
After i finished the sync the throttle wont return closed, the idle adjustment screw doesn’t hit its perch unless I physically push it down. When i let go it returns to opened about 3-4mm. The idle is to high (1500-1600 rpm). Anyone knows how i can fix this?

Check the lower hose clamps relative to the throttle mechanism.
If OK, check the adjustement of throttle position switch.

Ditto on the TPS possibly holding it open.  Been there, done that.

I found this was a problem on my K100LT by a previous owner, the hose clamps were preventing full closing.....just opened and rotated them clear.

When I ran into this it was after I replaced the throttle body boots.  I'm pretty sure that what happened is that I pushed the top of the TPS back without realizing it when I shoehorned the plenum above the TBs back into place.

(My only claim to fame in K bike world is that I've probably screwed up more things on K bikes than anyone else on the planet.)
