Once the ABS removed, i carefully discarted all hoses and fittings
Removing the rear calliper to clean ,i ploished the Brembo logo for fun.
Empty the old brake fluids.
measured for new braded lines that we ordered from Speigler

Bleeding brakes was SO easy using a vacuum pump. I now use it on bicycle hydrolic brakes too.
I customized the front fork bridge, turned it around and gave it a shot of black, so it looks nicer and bolted on the newly polished brass T coupling. It is now the only front fender on the bike.
New aluminum banjo bolts and new crush washers was added.
A brake switch /banjo bolt is what i used for the rear

The front headlamp was also modified, from the chrome boulbus vintage headlamp all was discarted exept for the ring and side bolts .
I the modified the position of the ears so the lamp was not sticking out so much, it also gives it a more modern look i think

Now the not so fun part...
Wires, wires, wires... one horn was kept an relocated.
Then headlamp was hooked up, Lo beam, hi beam, all OOOOK
Rear light pluged in, brake switch conected all good
LED blinkers conected, i modified the electronic board so i can use LED

The motogadjet switch was put in an inconspicuous spot,

I admit i went wild on the spaghetti of multicolored strands, at one point i took the airbox out and removed the hole thing
I also ordered a new (salvage ebay) wire harnes, in case i messed up... witch i did.

Spring was here, the deadline was up and the thing did not start...
I could not get pass the bulb monitoring or something...
The Motogadjet was pretty much working, indicator lights was fine .
So out with the buchared wire harness, in with the untouched one.
Now with the original instrument cluster, we got it started..
(It was not that easy)

You can spot the original clock stuck on the side of the engine

How does it ride you ask?
Not like a k1100 in full touring mode thats for shure.
So we got to ride it all summer,
On his way from Montréal Buddy A. Got a good scary wobble Coming out of a curve.
So up whent a steering damper, which made everything much better and securely planted

Buddy also got a rear frame loop installed so the rear end looks much better and finished

100km...
I say max 100km is how far you can go with this bike before your body hurts,
The position on and over the gas tank is tucked and compact, but the clip ons and rear set are at a good place,so you just endup riding it as if it was your last day on this planet: fast and agressive.
It is soooo much fun, this motor is amazing
