Thank you for the welcome.club_c wrote:Welcome aboard sir. This is the premier site for all things K100 (and K75). Wondering if a seat cover is on the list? You may have already seen this, but if not, this link will take you through all the scenarios:

Thanks for the tip. I haven't pulled my fuel pump yet. Pulling the pump and cleaning the tank are on the list of things to do. Then I'll decide whether to try and unfreeze a stuck pump or buy a new OEM, copy or substitute.Hale_Storm wrote:I just joined myself with a 1985 K100RS, bought it non running on craigslist, flushed out all the fluids, replaced the oil filter, and ended up having to replace the fuel pump, they are commonly known to gunk up and freeze if they sit for too long. EME, https://www.euromotoelectrics.com/ is where I got mine from, its nice because they offer OEM and aftermarket if you want to save some $$.
Nice looking RS! What size is the front wheel? 17"? Did they come stock on the RS? I just ordered some RS bars on eBay to replace the stock high rise, long pullback RT barsHale_Storm wrote:I just joined myself with a 1985 K100RS, bought it non running on craigslist, flushed out all the fluids, replaced the oil filter, and ended up having to replace the fuel pump, they are commonly known to gunk up and freeze if they sit for too long. There are cable and brake line differences between RS and the RT/LT bars. The front brake line from the master cylinder down to the headstock is a different length and the clutch/throttle cables are shorter for the RS. I am not sure if you can 'lose' the extra length by rerouting them but if you do be careful the lock angle doesn't affect them.woodgeek wrote:Nice looking RS! What size is the front wheel? 17"? I'm ordering new brake, throttle and clutch cables to go with the new bars.92KK 84WW Olaf wrote:
The impact pad with the ignition on it is also different and not sure if the RT/LT one works ok with the RS bars.
What are you doing with the fairing? Is that staying off or going back on?

That 3 spoke may be an 18" K75 front wheel since that fits the K100 fork and disc/brake configuration.

Thanks for the info! The guy I bought it from said the OP was a BMW mechanic, but you never know... maybe he swapped em out.
