First off: many thanks to those on this forum who have helped me with my previous bike: I recently sold my 1985 K100RS. It was a nice bike, but needed some work... and as I started adding up the parts to make it really "right" - I decided to sell it and get an RT (which is more like what my wife wanted).
I recently found this one: a 1985 K100RT with 66k miles in near showroom condition. Included were ALL service receipts for the bike, from its very first oil change back in June, 1985. Previous owner noted all maintenance, down to changing bulbs in the turn signals! I got the original tool kit, owner's manual, Haynes manual, and a box of spare and service parts (oil filter wrench, etc.).
Here's a pic:
The previous owner has left up his 'for sale' photo album, which should be here (until he takes it down):

I've put about 300 miles on it since I picked it up, and she's oil tight, no leaks or drips, starts instantly and runs smooth. Not shown in the picture is the Corbin backrest that made the bike an instant hit with my wife - she has a fear of 'flying off the back' of a motorcycle.
So the good ones are still out there!
