Hello all,
Just wanted to throw a quick introduction out there. I've always loved the look of the flying brick, I thought it was sleek yet ugly in its own endearing way...to be fair I used to build Volvo 240's. After selling my 2003 F650GS, I've been bikeless for about 2 years. For Father's Day this year my wife told me to buy a bike. I picked up a non-running 85 K100RT off of CL, and looking forward to getting this sucker running!
Current status: Non-running
I don't have huge grandiose plans for this bike, but I am planning on dumping the fairing and swapping in a round headlight bucket or similar.
Anyways, I'm sure I'll be back soon enough to get some electrical help, and I look forward to talking with everyone.
Thanks!
-Dylan

- PO was tackling some electrical gremlins and the bike ended up sitting in the corner of the garage.
- Needed a new starter relay - Done
- Needs a new ignition switch - Still trying to track one of these down. In the meantime, I've hotwired it.
- Needs a new battery
