Intro: My name is Robbz, I'm 71 and I've been riding for 12 years.
I like to go to the gym to stay in shape for skiing. It gives me endurance and makes it easier to do that first long motorcycle ride of the season.
A few years ago my son and I rode our bikes across the country from
Bowen Island BC to Halifax NS and on to New York. We rode 11,000 km
in just over 3 weeks, zig zagging across the country and dipping down into the USA. A wonderful adventure in good weather, where we met great people and had no mechanical problems - not even a flat tire or
a speeding ticket.
My son rode the BMW K100 flying brick and I rode the Honda ST1100
Both bikes are tireless performers, for up to 10 hours a day and they both run well on regular gas and we almost wore out our tires. From NY we flew home and shipped the the bikes West to Washington State for $700.00 each
I'm looking forward to meeting many of you some day andlearning about you on this site.
Keep the shiny side Up! Robbz
