Dear all,
many thanks for accepting my application for this global k100 Forum.
Myselft I run a global BMW k1 website, without a forum, because this topic is covered very well yet.
No one dealer, just a few hobbyists like myself have focussed on the k1...
In Germany just a poor 2050 BMW k1 have been sold. About a 600 have left in Germany...
In 1988 the k1 was a hugh motorbike, nowadays it is quite small comparing to a R1200GS...
The aerodynamic provides not just a class leading drag coefficient of CwxA= 0,335 by the time a value from 0,4 to 0,5 was ordinary and a top speed of 240km/h with just a 100hp, but even a comfortable ride with less wind noise while riding.
However, all technical convicting aside, the design of the k1 is unique - that's what I like!
I invite you to visit www.bmw-k1.com
My passion is the restaurate k1 and try colours: https://www.bmw-k1.com/the-art-of-k1/
Do not hesitate to contact me in case of any needs/ help required.
Especially spare parts for the k1 are running out of stock at BMW, a lot of parts will not reproduced anymore...

Let's share global network!
I am looking forward to hear from you!
Best regards,
Andreas (based in Germany/ Stuttgart)
