Ok, so i recently installed an Acewell-2853 and used the Blue/Black [16] wire coming from the coil. However, it's 'jumping' up and down the rev-range. I've heard that using a resistor 'cleans up' the signal and eliminates this. After doing some research, I've come across this:
1.)
Brown [Ground]
Ace-2853 (Yellow) 100K ohm 0.5 W resistor
\ /
\ /
10 nF 630V capacitor
Coil
Blue/Black [16]
2.)
Ace-2853 (Yellow)
10K ohm 0.5 W resistor [15K or 20k if higher resistance is required]
Coil
Blue/Black [16]
Any experience with either of these suggestions? Which would be the preferred solution?
