had a top weekend , involving setting up a charity event in the rain , and catching gazebo's in the wind .
Followed by a ride south to RT's , taking in afternoon tea with RossKKo's lovely family . Still not an easy time for them , we did however share a few smiles together.
It was then on the road again to dodge windblown obstacles to arrive in the coolness that is the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, and the home of Mr and Mrs Turner.
We were greeted with much warmth as we shared a delightful meal and company with many of whom were remembering RossKKo.
We appreciate very much the time Klompy has offered of himself to assist in Rosskko's affairs . This is by no means an easy undertaking by anyone .
Hopefully the thoughts shared on saturday evening will help bring a peaceful rest for Rosskko.
thankyou Bill for bringing this ride together.
The return journey home was to my in laws to share in fathers day . this topped off a most enjoyable weekend .
I must say thankyou to our hosts at Casa Turner, the lodgings were most welcoming , and the gracious meal a treat to remember .
thankyou to all for this special RossKKo moment.
After returning home from picking up Smurfette from the RossKKo residence , I found RossKKo's cap in the ducktail .
It is seen here resting on Smurfette , and so shall continue to be a part of the rides shared with the Krew .
I once sat in a ( funeral ) service , where the minister reflected on a farmers akubra hat .
The hat if it were to talk , would tell of all the places the farmer had been , and all the things the farmer had seen and heard.
Just think what this hat of RossKKo's would say .
Noticeable in the photo of Sweet Thing and Smurfette ( the bikes , not the blokes) is the positioning of the bars . Although the lower position was good at first , I have needed to adjust them on Smurfette to accommodate for recent injuries. Longer rides are needing less force on the shoulders . Other than that Smurfette is a lovely bike to share a ride with . The 1100 Klub certainly has grown somewhat here in Oz .
Cheers and thankyou .
