I was summoned to the local Beemer shop - where I was once employed - yesterday, by the parts & service manager to look at the pile of secondhand plastic and metal they were about to discard. I managed to grab a nearly complete K1300S fairing, some K100RS fibreglas panels, several K12/13 series pannier lids, two universal Touratech tankbags, a pair of GS handguards, an Oilhead rear brake disc, & etc. It's good to add motorbike bits to the retirement fund. They wouldn't take any money. It was a bit sad to see the remaining pile of plastic and metal, which I had no interest in nor space in my garage for, heading towards the skip (dumpster).

I spotted this on the table of items they're intending to eBay/Craigslist. I tried to text Rick G, knowing he'd been in the trailer bidness some years back, but our connection was dodgy. I guess the Tacoma to Stanthorpe cup and string isn't part of the OZ gubmint's NBN....or perhaps it is.
