Tackler and I are catching up this Saturday morning. Thought it would be a good opportunity if there are others who would like to meet for a coffee also. Somewhere around the Brisbane southside area to the Gold Coast. I'm not familiar with the area but if anyone has any suggestions, particularly if its a nice ride to get there. Not too far off the beaten track tho. I've only got the morning available and have to be well south of the boarder by 3.

got gerty back on the road last weekend ....and all the mates are heading south towards tottenham and the far cairn rally ...wish I was also .. but a cuppa with some locals sounds like a good idea to me.

Yatala pie shop's always a good rendezvous point. Just off the motorway and one roundabout, lotsa room indoors and out, and the pies are alright.

Wish I were there.

Looks like its going to be wet for a few days so take care.

I've canned my trip to GC today due a misunderstanding with my lodgings. The weather here is not too great anyway. Very gusty to 40klm and sporadic heavy rain. The depression seems to be working its way slowly up the coast. I don't mind the wet... can't stand the gusty wind... very tiring on a longish trip.
I'll see how the weather is early in the morning and decide about making the trip then.

Dave just texted to say he's in.
I'll be leaving home about 8ish so will make a decision then (2 hour trip in the rain). I think the weather will be a bit better tomorrow. Been pretty ugly here all day.
