The NSW Police today announced an enforcement blitz in the Hunter Valley in response to the alarming road statistics of 29 deaths this year in our region. I heard a couple of articles on the radio today while I was travelling in the car that had voice clips from Police representatives.
Interestingly there was no breakdown given of the types of vehicles involved in the fatalities (no doubt some or even a significant percentage were motorcycles) however the spokesman said that they will be targeting motorcycles with every means at their disposal with no mention of any other vehicles.

'Operation Silverstone will be targeting drivers and riders speeding and overtaking unsafley, and will involve an increased police presence of marked and unmarked Highway Patrol cars, police motorcycles and aircraft.'

What I wanna know is, who is this Mr Unsafley and why are they giving him the right to block the road ahead of us!?
