My K wasn't exactly on the list of acceptable bikes ,primarily cafes ( Kafe's , sKramblers , tracKers and Klassics , who said a K doesn't fit in, get yourself a new Diktionary) but it was very nice of the Steel City Custom guys to invite us for the ride .
A donation was reciprocated for a patch .

Hey Ed! now that you have been 'k'nighted and are dressing like a Lord, I will be nervous about how to address you or in fact what style of dress I need to assume if I am going to be in your kompany.

Will plain old riding gear still suffice in distinguished kompany? and is it Sir Ed or maybe Sir Grover? that we need to practise?

Cheers

(well done with the fund raising and awareness)

A fabulous thread/post. I think Ed is gearing up for a visit to the Emerald Isle......red Karpet will be out!

Gaz makes 3 this year and Rossko is already down [or should I say up?] for next year.

My official ancestry.com states " Edward the Fourth" , but I'm still just plain Ed, it's good to keep one's mind grounded .
plenty of enjoyment had at every event , especially on forum meetups, where fellow K'nights can Konsult over a platter of sKones.
it was good to catch up with the K's here , as there was interest from the red K regarding fuel tank size and consumption . does it look the large or small tank ?
it was very much a privelege to be invited into an exclusive style event in support of charity.
My steed is now overdue for a workover as the clutch is giving signs of contamination , couldn't afford to park it whilst in charity mode .
hopefully soon .

the 9.00am line up at Sol Invictus , Newcastle . before heading over to the main gathering at Cafe Inu.
Ol' Blue certainly sticks out in the crowd.

Totally appropriate apparel for a Distinguished Gentleman (BMW) Rider, don't we all dress in a similar manor? I'll need a BMW tie and cufflinks for my bike though.

The Clever are adept at extricating themselves from situations that the wise would have avoided from the outset - QUOTE from david Hillel in Out of the Earth.
