Just found this on eBay.
BMW K100
Brand new old stock but the price is a bit eye watering!
I suppose if you ignore the registration date and compare it with what you can buy new for the same money, it could make sense...
Unfortunately, as soon as you start to use it, it depreciates like a new bike.
Interesting to see one as new though.

Great example for a private collection, but I would not ride it.  I would keep it a unused, as there are lots of other good ones out there that you could ride and enjoy.

Considering how easy it is to zero the speedo, I'd want more proof than just the dealer's word for it.

Obviously no way to know for sure, but even the tires still how their little nibs on them, so it all looks legit.

That's exactly how mine was with the C fairing. I assumed that the original buyer had specified it when it was new.
It has winged is way to Italy via eBay. Went for a surprising £87 despite some fall over damage. Shown on the photos, of course.
That was almost a third of my total purchase price recovered! Shocked
Ten grand! I don't think so.

That your 30 year old bike have a C fairing doesn't say that it's been there from the start.

As a matter of fact it's also a lot of other parts on the bike in the avatar that doesn't match the model year in your signature.
