Brutus Ludovicus Maximus has the globe in his mouth. He forgives you for calling him a mut (which he is!!).Kaptain Holister wrote:Hi there Peter Allen. WeKome to K-World.
Is that a snowball your mut has in his mouth?
I accept his forgiveness, but tell us about your other beast you have there.peterallen wrote:Brutus Ludovicus Maximus has the globe in his mouth. He forgives you for calling him a mut (which he is!!).Kaptain Holister wrote:Hi there Peter Allen. WeKome to K-World.

This is my first BMW motorcycle, acquired in 1997. For decades I was a recovering British motorcycle guy (ca 1960, 1970 BSAs and Nortons). This blue beast is nearing 300,000 km. After I acquired another K100LT (also 1988) I converted this one into a "café racer". That may look like a piece of plywood holding the headlight, however, I assure you it is cast titanium with a simulated plywood finish!Kaptain Holister wrote:I accept his forgiveness, but tell us about your other beast you have there.peterallen wrote:Brutus Ludovicus Maximus has the globe in his mouth. I tried to place a picture - but I'm slow! Where do I find that "picture/save" button?Kaptain Holister wrote:I don't know what impresses me more, the fact that your blue beast is nearing 300klm or you have a piece of titanium holding your headlight on.
But I am a little confused... what is a "recovering British motorcycle guy"?
As for noticing the plywood... I can't see that. I presume you are referring to your profile pic and that's a bit too small to notice anything. You can insert a pic in your post by hosting your pic using the picture/save button above then copy and past the middle link you get, directly into your post.
There's a 'cafe' community on the forum so there are plenty here who would like to see what you have.

Kaptain Holister wrote:There's a toolbar just above the text box. Look for the group of buttons that has the red and white YouTube icon and its the 1st left button in that group.
When you click that, you'll be able to upload a photo off your computer. Click host and it will give you 3 links. Click the middle one and then copy it and paste into your post.
