I expect you will get a similar welcome to mine when I was pretty new to the group. Getting to know some members has only improved on that. Bill
I hope you all have a great ride, and top weekend. I wish I could have come along, but Australia Day weekend is my Sons birthday, 15 this year, so plans had already been made. Enjoy

No Daniel's birthday is on 25th close though. On the Monday we'll be going to the Wards Mistake Australia Day BBQ, should be a good piss up. Holly smoke ( the local priest ) will be there with his fireworks, kicks off at around 2.00pm so by the time we see the fireworks we should have a good glow up .
Well fed and watered, heading home. Tom, Bill,Ed getting a dose of Robertson Sun. More photos will be posted but a nice time seemed to be had, thanks for coming guys.
Gi'day, Had a great day, thanks for the hospitality & make'n me feel welcome. Got home OK but rather wet, 10mins from home went through a cloud burst & no amount of fairing would have kept me dry - pleased with how the Bike felt / handled the amount of water on the road - Again thanks for the day. Dale

Great to meet you, Dale.

happy Oz day to all. had a top weekend with a few of the Krew at RT's. It was good to meet up with some new folk and share ideas , a laugh and a drink.
As I was able to be in Batemans Bay a few days earlier , we enjoyed the hospitality of the local precinct. Obviously the word had gotten around of a K gathering , and we were duly welcomed.
Gathering at Batemans Bay, Gaz and Tom, in the background is the Notorious , a replica caravelle visiting the region.
new Krew members David ( werewasi) and Dale , enjoying lunch at Kiama boatshed.
meeting up with David , Dale and Waz at Kiama lighthouse. clear skies and a cool breeze for now.
the road through to RT's , comes up in my files as number 666, it was pure heaven , twisties galore , a very enjoyable part of the weekend.
the view overlooking the coastline from the top of Jambero Mtn Rd, the sky was a bit hazy , leading into afternoon showers. still a cool breeze along the way.
after a slow but enjoyable run up through Jamberoo Mtn Rd , my first time through there, as for most on this ride , Waz kindly hung back to guide me through to Bob's. I managed to grab some action shots on the way , fine form there Waz.
Waz and his sideKar. a big grin can suggest only one thing...
sKones a plenty to be enjoyed. lathered with some of RT's homemade nectarine jam.
the inaugural signing of the table, Bill was offering tattoos for anyone willing.
the forum takes its place on Bobs table.
much credit goes to the Turners for their hospitality over the weekend, Bob did a great job on the BBQ, upholding the great Aussie tradition.
A few of the Krew preparing for departure on sunday morning. cheers to all. Happy Straylya Day ! Donning the appropriate Aussie head gear.
missed the company of a few others , so we just drank more.

Well done, love the flag and mirror covers. Looks like another top weekend was had, hey no selfy over the BBQ Ed ? looks like Bob's done a great job. Good to see Waz got the chair sorted.
Just a little about mine and Tom's weekend to add to Ed's report.
Tommy rode up the valley to Greta to meet me about 8:00am on Friday morning and we set off to Bill's place in Goulburn via the scenic route (who would have guessed I would avoid the Sydney freeways?) which took us west out of the Hunter Valley to Sandy Hollow and then south through the beautiful Bylong Valley where you will see some of the most spectacular sandstone escarpments in the world (no photos on this leg of the trip as I knew we were meeting Ed. Psst! he actually wore out a camera on his latest adventure). A stop for fuel for bikes and bodies at Rylstone - we kept up the tradition by ordering skones with jam and cream, and then on southwards via Wallerawang, Hampton to Oberon for lunch. This was the first really hot day that either Tom or I could remember experiencing in Oberon which is well known as one of the coldest places in the state at any time of the year.
Once fuelled and fed I checked the rain radar as there was a very threatening looking cloud mass building up to the south. At Tom's urging of "its only water" we decided to gamble on leaving off the wet weather gear - and almost won! We copped a short burst of rain on the back edge of the storm as it passed from west to east but it was not really of any discomfort considering how hot that day was.
The run down to Goulburn from Oberon is always enjoyable and we duly arrived at Bill's abode in Goulburn where he and his wife turned on the hospitality which was much appreciated. Saturday morning dawned and we three old farts mature gentlemen were on the road soon after 7:30am. The morning ride was very pleasant both in temperature and scenery and we found ourselves in Batemans Bay just after 9:30am looking around for a blue K with trailer. A little wander around and a couple of text messages to Ed re where we should look for koffee and skones and we returned to our bikes to find a familiar blue jacket thrown across Bill's bike meaning Ed had been here and would no doubt be back shortly.
Once the necessary caffeine levels had been restored (sadly the kafe cafe had no skones or scones) we were now four travellers and heading for Kiama for the expected meet up with more of the krew. The temperature of the day was certainly heating up and we were glad we were riding north as the road south was bumper to bumper traffic, no doubt escaping for the long weekend.
Once we cleared Berry we enjoyed a cooling breeze which lasted to the headland at Kiama where the other K riders were waiting. Introductions all round to the newer members in Dave (werewasi) and DaleRT. As has already been reported Waz was there in all his glory with the outfit (still a bit white knuckled from the trip down).
After lunch at the kiosk on the headland we headed up the mountain via Jamberoo to RTs place at Robertson. A good steep run up the mountain through the forest with almost no traffic coming at us. RT and his wife turned on the welcome and a great night was spent around his monster table under the rear awning where we were able to listen to the rain falling on our tents while enjoying the food and beverages and hoping that the sleeping bags were not getting wet.
We all survived the night and after a hearty RT breakfast Tommy and I pushed off toward home via the back roads along the base of the blue mountains through Penrith, Richmond, Windsor, up the Putty road to home.
Tom and I are making a habit of teaming up for some very hot weather rides, our last one home from Smithy's was on a 43 degC day and yesterday was a mere 37 degC. I'm looking forward to travelling somewhere in the cooler part of the year and I'll bet Tom is too.
Thanks to all for the kompany and hospitality over the weekend. Good to meet a couple of new faces and a serious thanks to Ed for his diligence in taking a great range of photos for his report. I particularly liked the one he got of me at full Yap boring the two new guys at the kiosk.
G'day All, Completely agree with Gaz's report. In fact he is from now on the official scribe for Team75. A great weekend was had by all and it was fantastic to meet up with Dale and Dave. It is always good to see the faces behind the names. Thank you Bob and Sharon for your hospitality - very much appreciated. Arrived home about 4.30ish and was suffering from having been overheated. Should have worn the summer jacket. Came good after a couple of ales. Thanks again for your company, words of wisdom and just being around. Gaz was made leader of Team75 mainly because he had the GPS and knew where he was going. Had no trouble finding Bill's place in Goulburn and I thank him for his great hospitality. Cheers Tom
onya tom ! good to see you getting out mate . I can almost see the smile from here ...but it has been a trifle warm of late ...has defiantly kept me inside more than I wanted to be
great report gaz
thanks to all the pics and words guys

The pics of K bikes out and about under blue skies and talk of warmth (both weather-wise and friendship-wise) does wonders to lift the spirits of us denizens of the northern hemisphere on a dull, dreary, damp day. Still - could be worse, could be snowed in....
A great report and Happy Australia Day to all too. Fantastic to see so many happy faces and a great bond. Feels like we were there instead of just wishing we were there.
Anyone wants a cooler ride and some great scenery talk to TacKler and Indian036.....some cool rides in this part of the northern territory.
