Hello all,

I am the proud new papa of a very well taken care of 1985 k100RT. Although she came with all the bells and whistles, I am in the process of slimming her down a bit to make her a bit more manageable. She is my 2nd bike, and 2nd customization. My other bike is a 1975 Honda cb200T- infinitely less complicated and not very highway friendly, but a great fun bike! I look forward to some long, fast rides on the RT as well as gaining all the knowledge I can from you guys!

Brad

I remember these....

Checking in from Florida, USA Cb200_small

I picked up a Honda CB500-4 back then.

These were all over the showrooms at the time. Very solid reliable steed but more suited to commuting than long trips. Some of them had cable front disc brake.....

A long way from a K100 but definitely a nice one for short trips around the place.

I remember them well, usually had to put a new top end on them before the warranty was up and some even had it bone twice.  They weren't all as bad as that but the cam geometry left a bit to be desired.
