I'm the new owner of a 1985 K100 RS. It's a barn find and in rough shape but the essentials are solid so it'll make a fun project. It needs brakes and tires primarily plus a lot of cosmetic help. I'm also working on a 1990 Yamaha XT600 enduro. My pride and joy so far, is a 2004 Moto Guzzi Breva 750ie that I picked up for $500.00. The PO couldn't get it to start and wasn't familiar with forums. I spent a few hours browsing forums and fixed the starting problem with a length of wire and two dollar fuse.

All that to say I know the value of the bike-specific forums. Thanks to all of you in advance.

Welcome too from the Emerald Isle. Don't suppose you will be over here anytime soon but if you are. . .ask Mike about Craggy Island!! We met him here a few weeks ago.

You will enjoy the K. But the forum and people you meet here make a big difference.

Now I know 2 people in Hawaii. The other one spent a few years working here in Ireland but moved back home there about 5 years back. . . She was a commercial manager with a big company here and offered my daughter a job over there when she moved back. Daughter opted for London instead.
