There's nothing like a lazy trundle through the country on a sidecar rig, and.... this is nothing like a lazy trundle through the country on a sidecar rig!

Earlier this year we were travelling to a rally with a friend on his R1200GS, he often travels with a guy from his other club who has a Ural sidecar and was expecting to travel at a similar pace with my K sidecar.

After flowing along the twisty bitumen in the Brindabellas at a good pace and then trying to keep up with me sliding about on all the corners on the loose surfaced forest roads, he basically said he didn't think that sidecars could travel at that pace.

They don't have to be slow. That is just a choice of the rider.

Al

I always travel with solo riders and never had any problems to keep up with them.

Today, I took it easy as it was Maggie's first motorcycle ride. She loved it and was very happy to jump back in the chair after every stop.
She had to wear her biking jacket as it was only 4 degrees when we started riding (I had to clean the frost of the windshield's bike before leaving). affraid
