Any pics from along the Mediteranean?
Cheers

Morocco is on my bucket list. If only because my K75S' colour is Marrakesh Red.
Just a matter of time.
Dave.
A lot of dirt roads. Mammoth effort.kuk wrote:Hello FriendKaptain Holister wrote:Nice. How long did you take to do that?

I'm thinking about Morocco myself, thank you for the pictures, not too sure about dirt road riding what tyres did you use ?
A lot of dirt roads. Mammoth effort.
How did the tyres hold up on the dirt?

Heck,
My K is Baja Red and I am not going there.
Ever.
That was a great trip Kuk. Morocco April. Pyrenees October.
Australia Christmas??
That comparison, taken strictly at face value, would be a bit of a stretch, but they're very pretty with terrific views and scenery, as there are some very good, twisty roads in the Ozarks and in the Appalachians too - Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway come to mind. But they aren't anywhere near as grand and jagged as in Europe. They're a fair bit softer round the edges, more worn down and rounder; similar to what we call 'mountains' in Australia. If you have the chance to ride them you'll be impressed. Just don't expect the US version of Großglockner Pass in Arkansas, Virginia or the Carolinas.TacKler wrote: ...he mentioned the Appalachians and Ozarks compare to the Euro Alps.
