Hi Craig

Welcome to the forum.

Your way with words is good....your first 'brick' perhaps should read your 'first' brick.....they like to acquire a mate. Soon you will have two, we all do...

Everyone here is very helpful and sociable and its good.

There is a section on the home page on what to do if you have just bought a brick. Take a look, don't be afraid to ask questions because someone will have an answer. We all started somewhere so don't feel you cant ask a simple question. K is a great bike.

Olaf.

G'day Craig.

Do a Search on ABS as there are a lot of posts on the subject...and as Olaf said, take a gander at the "what to do if you have just bought a brick".

It pays to put the model and year in your signature, as there are subtle differences between the years and models.

Hi Craig.
I was watching that bike on trade me out of interest to see where it ended up.

Hi Mossy,

Apparently there were 45 watchers, not that I knew that but after a lot of thought I decided to take a bit of a risk and hit the buy now. May have got it cheaper but am happy with it. Hopefully I can get it sorted for a K or so.

Going to go play with the ABS ....again !

Cheers

Hi Craig. Welcome to the forum. I'm not far from you, about an hour these days (on a good K !) . . . A lot of ABS faults can disappear with correct bleeding of the system. If me I would try that first. It is the easiest and probably the cheapest place to start
