Hi All

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
I have purchased a 1994 K1100rs and didn't like the front (love the engine) so I'm going for the naked look.
I have the complete front fairing with all mounts, belly pan, side panels, headlight, oil and fuel gauged pretty much the lot apart from main clocks.
Does anyone know a guide price to sell everything as one I do not have the time to do it all separately.

Thanks
Andy

Hello and welKome to the forum.
Not sure what it's like over your way but here in Australia there are so many people building cafe racers and taking moody photos in alleys that the fairing stuff is freely available, possibly driving down the prices a bit. Might be different in England though?

It's a global pandemic. Much like the coming Zombie Apocalypse.

Only the availability is free, svenok—that is to say, they are not uncommon to find. You'll probably still need to pay something for them. Price Guide 177381 However, if you explain what form your eternal gratitude will take—pies, insider trading tips, cases of craft brew—you might get contacted. Very Happy

So yes, I said they were freely available, not available for free, as Laitch says.
I think there may also be a difference in availability in regards to the RS vs the RT and LT fairings. People are possibly less likely to remove the RS fairing than the creaky barn door that is the RT. I'm giving away an RT fairing to another member here. Well, when I say giving away, it's more a response to previous kindness on his part and also other members here over a long period. Call it K Karma if you will...... Price Guide 652573 study

The RS Fairings are far less likely to come up than the RT/LT type

I purchased a COMPLETE K1100Rs fairing for $500US last winter.  Shipping from Colorado to New York was included.

Complete means all plastic bits, headlight, mirrors, windshield with deflector, fairing mount with horns, brackets, all interior trim, radiator grille, and all the screws and fasteners to hold it all together.

What was not included: tank, battery covers, tail cowl and front mudguard.

The main part of the fairing needed a crack repaired with a bit of fiberglass and filler.  Otherwise the paint on all parts was very nice and good enough to use as I received them(if I wanted a black bike).

There are parts out there with higher asking prices, and most of them have been out there for a long time(years).

I have no problem paying......I'll pay anyone out.  Price Guide 44271 I'm up for bartering too, I have a wife I'll trade for a good fairing, she has a few miles on the clock, but never fails to start in the morning. However there are times when I think the rev limiter needs adjusting.

I saw a complete fairing the other day...not sure if it was on a German site or not...Thought postage would be the killer.
