Folks over here may have seen posts and stories on other (mainly American) sites, mentioning a product called Seafoam.

Relatively hard to get (and expensive) over here; available on Oz ebay (you have to decide which kid to sell so you can buy some).

Now there is an alternative...STP Multi-Purpose Motor Treatment.

Add to fuel, add to motor oil, two stroke, four stroke, diesel...just about anything with an engine. Elixir of the motoring gods.

I have nothing to do with STP, just lettin' ya know that this stuff is available and I have bought a couple of cans to see what it's like.

If the 'ethanol issue' in petrol/gasoline is what you're trying to solve, as an alternative to Seafoam, there's this stuff which I use in every tank on both bikes. It's called StarTron and is an enzyme which is purported to 'eat' the corn or sugar-based ethanol attached to the water in the bottom of your tank. It is not a 'top end' lubricant. It's only about $7.95 for a 12 ounce (355ml) bottle in The States, so a bit 'spendy', as usual, Down Undah.

Where I have always heard about Seafoam is the "Seafoam tune-up": Drain the petrol, pour a can of seafoam into the tank, run the engine on that until it's dry. 

If anyone else wants to try that with STP's MPMT, please do let us know how it went.

No ethanol issue, just an all-round, one-can-does-it-all additive.

I've used it in the as FUEL AND OIL additive. Seemed to smooth the idle a lot on my Yamaha r6, and my K as well. Fairly cheap in the states

I have had many different bikes over the years. Lots of Honda bike, especially Goldwings. Now that I have an older K100LT, I am still using Marvel's Mystery Oil. about 1-2 Oz. per full fill-up. I only use 91 Octane unleaded fuel that contains up to 10% Ethanol (we have no choice about Ethanol here in Colorado, USA - I hate the EPA sometimes).

Anyway, it lubes the cylinders and valves nicely and cleans up deposits very very well. I even use the stuff in my 1946 Cessna 140A that has a Continental C-125 engine with an auto gas STC. But I have ran it with 100LL too with no issues with regards to wear on the pistons and valves. Every time my mechanic has scoped my engine, he says it looks brand new and my compressions are factory new and high....

Don't know if there's an Oz distributor, but Kreen from Kano labs is incredible. 
Kano serves industrial concerns and has since the time of the pharaohs. Retail's just not their bag. 

Just Google it; you'll find stories, recommendations, images from many fans. Cult status.

I strongly advise against trying to run any engine on undiluted Seafoam. A couple of years ago I decided that I'd dilute Seafoam less than what the directions say.  The engine ran okay, but the fuel hoses soon looked like cracked crystal (and it sure was not from old age).  Seafoam is strong stuff if its able to destroy plastic fuel hose.  Be careful with it, or you may regret it.

I checked a post in Bob Is The Oil Guy forum that shows, in 2011, to have an 8 quart carton (the minimum they would order) shipped to Australia, will cost AUS$1,253.60 or AUS$156.70 per quart.
This price is made up of AUS$1,060.00 dangerous goods shipping and AUS$24.20 per quart.

...and yes brickrider, I wouldn't recommend running anything like Seafoam/MMO-type stuff neat through your motor!

Try it on a mate's bike first, to see how it goes... Shocked
