"BMW Gasket (62111459232) is used in Instruments assembly..."

I'm getting order 'corrections' from every house I order from. Item discontinued. 

While repairing a burned out bulb I found that the original gasket is showing its age; cracked, threatening to disintegrate altogether (not unlike myself).

Any ideas for a replacement? I tried razor cutting a gasket from my wife's yoga mat (not recommended) and made a hash of it.

Most bearing suppliers (in the UK at least) stock 'O' ring rubber in various diameters.

 For the instrument gasket the ends of a length of such material can be super-glued together.

You might find 2mm diameter 'O' ring rubber on e-bay.

Just looked for O ring cord on e-bay and got over 1500 results.

www.motorworks.com. I got one from there about six months ago.

Been using the super glued o´ring rubber for many years on similar applications with no issues.

These Guys have them in stock but postage to Canada May make it a bit costly.
