I WAS a member - once!

After spending a while just browsing the forum without posting, I recently got myself a new computer. And the struggle to reconstruct my old machine was long and difficult. Finally got it done only to find that I'd forgotten my original login details here, username, password and all.

So now I'm back after a small correction to my user name.

Curently still riding my 1997 K1100LT SE as well as a 250 Suzuki Bergman. Which is OK for the occasional shopping trip or commute, but - it isn't a K.

Most recent serious ride on the K was to the D-Day commemorations in Normandy. Spectacular sights and sounds and some excellent riding time Very Happy

Funny the coincidence that I had, just yesterday, resurrected your older 2 row vs 3 row post...and you received answers as though it was new! Welcome back!

Thanks for the welcome back chaps, it's good to welcomed. A bit older and more wrinkly, but still breathing.

I'm about to trundle off to the elecrtrical forum to post about a bit of a 'lectric gremlin I have. Got a nasty feeling I already know the answer though...

Welcome back Keef, you never really left. D day ride sounds fab. coming to UK soon be nice to hook up when i get a K. My uncle and dad from Bromley were part of Dday, Dad in Lancs, unc in the Navy. Dad was only 21 after 2 tours and wars end. visited UK and EU by Boxer, need to get a K this time. dad wouldn't mind, he respected the German working class as bullied victims like the brit workers.
