BMW doesn't sell the FLS float as a separate part so if yours floods then you are SOL or left with improvising. Saw this on FleaBay and bought one to see if it would work.

Results: The base diameter is a little wider than OEM but it does fit in a K bike FLS. It has a larger volume and is taller so your fuel gauge might not register totally full when it hits the tank at the top. It is also a bit more bouyant which means it may give slightly more optimistic readings than the OEM "ping pong ball."
About $8 shipped on FleaBay in the US.
