Hi All, I have just purchased a 1984 K100RS. I haven't done many miles yet as I am having the seat lowered to get the bike "just right" for my needs. I like both feet on the ground at the same time. I live on the Isle of Man an hope to meet our local group in time for the Manx Grand Prix Races.

My brother lives on the Island too, has an S100RR and I have been to the Grand Prix.

A great place to live but I cant imagine there are too many K bikes there.

Everyone here is very helpful and sociable and there is a wealth of technical know how. Check out the home page on what to do if you have just bought a K bike. If you encounter any problems post them up on the forum as someone will have met them before.

If you are inclined to venture forth us 'Irish Eccentric's would be delighted to meet up with you. You would be well placed to take a trip to Belfast in September for a trip we make to Northern Ireland. Hopefully the Steam Racket Company will have good offers for you!

Now you have given us an incentive to visit the Island. I have had some nice camping there too.

Hi Mate, I haven't seen another K bike on the Island and was quite surprised when this one turned up. I had a Royal Enfield Bullet which let me down during the TT and I was offered the K100 in part exchange so I jumped at it.

Well, Motorworks and Motobins are a very good source of parts and delivery is quick. You wont get too many spares locally but their service is as good as any.

If you pop your VIN into your signature then it makes it easy for our more expert members to make sure you get the right advice. I have a K for over 4 years and found this forum most excellent. There are a few things you can do to make your life easier and no doubt if you are anyway mechanically minded you can do all the smaller things yourself.
