Any problems fitting a K100RT fairing to a naked K75? John

Have a good look at a K75RT fairing.  Compared to the 100RT fairing, you'll see differences around the engine as the 75 engine is shorter.

John,

If you need any photos of the brackets or such give me a yell.  My K75RT is complete but still a work in progress before becoming roadworthy again.

Cheers, Dave.

I believe the fairings are the same, its the lower panel mountings/mounting positions that differ due to the smaller size engine.

Thanks guys. Just bought a fairing off ebay, pick it up next week end. Seller is making a café racer so hoping purchase will include all brackets etc. Yes I can see that the upper bracket supporting the bottom of the top half of fairing will be different but should be able to make something. The other thing I have noticed is that I think the rad was moved forward on a factory made K75RT. Hoping I can leave mine where it is ie further back. John

You will likely have problems with the brackets that attach the fairing to the frame near the top of the radiator.  Since the K75 is "missing" a front cylinder the angle of those frame members is sharper.  K75RT brackets might work there though since the K75RT fairing is a K100RT fairing retrofitted to work on a K75.

Edit: When I put a K1100RS fairing on my K75 Frankenbrick I just left those out.

Another issue you'll run into is that the faring knee panels won't fit the tank.  Naked K75s, K75Ss and K75Cs have a slightly smaller, differently shaped tank. K75RTs have a K100 gas tank.
