Does anyone having the electrical schematic for connecting heated grips?
The orginal BMW switch seems to have a position for heat level.

I've bit the bullet and ordered a kit from Motobins for my K100RS, now just how easy are they to fit ? and are there any diagrams floating around.

Assuming they're new BMW grips, they'll come with detailed fitting instructions and diagrams.

It's not hard, but is open bike surgery - tank off to get to the undertank electricals and instruments & crash/dash pad off to be able to thread the wires up inside the handlebars (enters/exits handlebars through a hole underneath the handlebars in the centre). I guess with a new set, you have to thread the wire from bar end to the centre, so may be fiddly getting the wire to come out of the hole if you haven't got anything to use to pull it through (like an old heated grip wire).

I was cursing - a recent question asked "how do you know if the grips are heated or not" - I had the same answer as TWB, but took the bar end weight off just to check and broke the sodding wire! Doh!! Typically, this morning the temperature was down to just 1.5 deg C (it's the middle of May for goodness sake - it was 20 deg C riding home from work) and I missed my right hand being warm. Just fixed it (again).
