Almost finished my project bike. A 1987 k100lt 600.00 basket case, made into the bike I really wanted.

First this is what I stated with:

Thanks everyone! I'm very happy with the result. Couple of things left to do. I'm adding the full luggage package, recover the seat to tan, and change the wheels to three spokes. Took her out for a the first time this week. Love the ride! Stopped for gas, and got greeted by some other k riders, they said they heard me coming in, because of that k sound. You k guys are really a nice group. Very Happy

Very impressive!  The paint and polish work looks top notch.  It will be sweet when you get the tan seat cover finished.

Are most of you guys across the pond? That chrome bar was a trailer hitch of some sort, it won't be going back on the bike. That color just happened to be the color of the donor bike. For awhile there, I was getting a ups box almost everyday! I think we all marry wifes that put up with our obsession. But if I take any more bikes apart on the living room floor, she might give the ring back. Its only been about 28 years!
