They are simple Kevlar armoured Blue Jean/Denim pants constructed for more movement in the crotch area.

The often have coupon codes they send me. What I like about this company they sell any size. My size is a 33" waist by 36"Leg and when the get here that is what they measure.

Good on you for the report, I spotted them a while back and thought that was a solution to a problem I experience where ones equipment gets squeezed when riding and given I wear a Streetguard on top it is difficult to adjust the fit of jeans whilst riding to relieve the pressure. I am going to order a set and try them out especially given for a garment made with care in a first world country the price is reasonable.

Have been wearing bike pants for such a purpose...but an all in one solution sounds and looks great...the cost is acceptable its just the postage that may be an issue.

Considering they cost upwards of $200 in Oz the postage might bring it up to half the price.
It appears the kevlar is sewn in, and not mostly free floating and able to roll up as I have seen evidence of in the australian made jeans, they are a good product.
Check out the link and the rest of the world can see what thieves the Oz retailers are and that place is "reasonably priced".

Strangely these guys go under the name of Austrailianbikergear, the're on Fleabay and selling Kevlar's at £40.

I have a pair, they are comfortable lovely in summer and on hot days you do not suffer the Betty Swollocks syndrome.

I have bought from australian biker gear and without exception everything was crap. I would not trust anything they sell to save one square inch of skin. Its all looks and no substance.

88 bought some gear and wasn't very impressed.

I have a pair of Draggin Jeans and find they are a bit too restrictive underneath, would probably be fine for ladies or a choirboy but for me they are too tight for comfort on a long ride which is why I look with such favour on Diamond Gusset Jeans. Unfortunately Rick is right the cost of product in Australia and NZ is outrageous compared to it's cost in Europe or the US. Volvo spares and K spares come in via an Australian distributor to a New Zealand distributor then to the dealer so when you look at the real customer buy price with say RealOEM in the US those prices look cheap even considering the exchange rate here in NZ.

Specific case in point I wanted to buy three sets of Bilstein Heavy Duty shock absorbers i.e. 12 units for 2 Mercedes and one Volvo. I approached the Bilstein official agent/importer here in NZ who buys them from his company in Australia who buys them from probably the US he would not say. His price via sea freight (3 months delivery) with me collecting them from his warehouse was double the price to get them shipped direct from a distributor in the US by air freight to my door and they arrived inside a week from when I paid the firm in the US. I did check with the Bilstein agent but he could not do better than double the price, that was how the margins worked in their company.

These latter denim pants were very well reviewed by Motorcycle Consumer News, a publication in which I have great trust. They are also actually more economical.

I am not sure what brand of jeans Col was wearing, but from what I saw of his beautiful legs while he was fighting with the nursing staff, despite his other injuries his legs were fine.
That could also be a function of how he landed, rolled, slid etc but still shows the protection was obviously better than denim as any contact with the ground would tear them off you.

That's true Rick, I kept the jacket but gave up on the trousers. The knee pads didn't protect the knee's coz they wouldn't stay in place and the winter liner kept bunching up at the backs of the knees.

Since I am a customer, they send me "coupon codes" that one would enter to get discounts or money off on your order. I am sharing this with my friends on the forum. The coupon code "commonsense" will get you $11 off until the 20th of Jan. 2013. Again I have no interest in this and am just sharing the coupon code they send me. I am going to buy a Kevlar set.. So taint spam, eh! I will use this thread to pass along the codes from time to time when they send it to me. Once you buy they will send you your own codes. It may not work if they associate the code with my computer??? Since I am an apprentice mechanic, I have to make an impact in other ways. Like sharing my code. Or posting hard to find Ks. off of Craigslist.

A company selling similar product filed an abuse on the K100-forum site.
In fact they were trying to spam the site with advertisement.

Since this dead thread has been brought back to life, I’ll share my experiences with various reinforced jeans.

Diamond Gusset: My current favorite, on my second pair. Styling is closet to jeans.  The gusset keeps “the boys” happy. Good sturdy construction. Have a D ring above the right front pocket which is handy for clipping my keys to when not riding.  Also have a cell pocket on right outer thigh which is handy. (But would probably leave a large welt if I ever fell on it.)

Draggin’: Had two pairs before I found the DGs. Kind of dorky looking but OK.

Competition Accessories: Have not owned but have seen/handled them in person and the denim is not that thick/rugged. Would not buy.

Cortech: Way baggy like gang banga pants.

Decent knee impact protection:  I don’t wear any but if I did I’d use something like Under-Armor (not in hot weather) or some knee pads that strap to the leg and will remain in position in a getoff.
