Hi there all,Finally a k Bike has entered my garage,I have 2 bms,a 74 R75/6 and a 93 R100GSPD,both in original condition,as well as assorted Jap bikes.I paid $750 for an oxidising, unused for 2-3 years 109kilometer K75C example.Always a risky move when they dont run.The tank was full but definitely had moisture in it. I am going through the  mechanicals on a clean up/see whats stuffed basis before spending up!Gearbox, final drive oils clean and ok around magnetic plugs. I have lubed the splines in the drive shaft. Next step is to take out fuel filter/fuel pump and check those out, then look over the fuel injection system, now thats new territory for an Airhead, give me gravity feed anyday.I am currently restoring a MatchlessG80S,a 500cc single so this is an interesting contrast. So here goes! I am enjoying your technical articles. Cheers from Australia.

Yes must do one day. It's good to put faces to names.
While you are searching the net for info on the new steed have a look at Teds Site about things to do to and with a new to you K bike
http://www.verrill.com/moto/newkbike.shtml

If you get things going soon enough we have a Nindigully get together on 9, 10, 11th May you may like to come to with or without a BMW.

Welcome P-RIKK  (k-bike noobie Icon_redface)

Good to hear that a thoroughbred has been added to your stable. Quite a collection you've got there and some good projects. Don't forget to find time to get out and ride too. There is a good sized clan down under so you will be well placed to get stuck into the forum and with Rick on your doorstep...who could ask for more?
