I've been running an early K100 RS for 12 years. Been reliable and fun but just starting to get a bit tired. Finally sorted handling with right tyres though.
Thinking I need to raise the bars a bit and fit taller screen  - been meaning to for some time.
Prior to the K ran a Guzzi 1000 which replaced a R100/7  - ex-police

Welcome to the forum Chris. The inmates from the asylum next door (read R100 forum) have been getting in lately but pay no heed I have an electric prod to get rid of them.

Welcome Chris,

Excellent to see another new member from the UK SW area. We are a steadily growing clan - and definitely need to organise a local gathering soon. Most advice hereabouts is helpful and the humour is healthy. Having been riding an RS for 12 years, you will have a huge amount of experience of K100's already.

Enjoy

What about the white sidewalls? You should know there is a thing about cable ties. White ones. A bit like black shoes and white socks. Ks always have cable ties, but you don't want them to be white!.

On a more serious note there is nothing like knowing a few K owners and being able to arrange to meet up and enjoy a few miles and a coffee or lunch together at some nice place. This is really good for the feeling of wellbeing.

Without fail everyone here is helpful and willing to pass on any knowledge gained about Ks or different places. Of course some good banter and fun too.

Well Chris and Bill it's nice to see the forum acting as an introduction agency. We have the Irish Eccentrics over here and of course if you decide to travel a little you will be made very welcome and we would love to see you.

Now being down Somerset way and in the south west I know there are a few more members down that way. If you meet up maybe what do we refer to you as? The Kornish Kranks? Cornish Eccentrics? Southern Belles? Barnstaple Beemers? But it might be nice to plan a little breakfast and small run some Saturday. Amazing what you learn about a K over breakfast or a coffee. The Minack Theatre would be an awesome destination. Or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Just a few thoughts.....
