Ah ok... that might be the guy from Rutherford. I was trying to contact him awhile back to get some advice about mine but found out he'd retired.
There's a kind of funny situation now where all the old guys who knew all the ins and outs of the black art of sidecars are either retired or dead! You wake up one day and realise it's up to you!

That would be him. I heard he's retired. Yeah it's a dying art. Bloody name is on the tip of my tongue  .

Well miracle of miracles, I finally remembered....John Marshall . I hate getting old . I could point you to the build but it's a bit pointless as Photobucket has made a mockery of the thread.

Did you have it long and did you have any issues with the sidecar at all?

Had it for a while, maybe 8 years. I also had a Guzzi California with a chair for a while.I still have the GS and the rego papers still show it as a sidecar. I also still have the engineers certificate so I can bolt one back on if need be but I sold all the bits like the trail reducer and car rear rim etc so it would back a lot of money to get it back to the way it was.
  I had a few issues with it pulling left but got most of that sorted. The biggest problem was the size of the chair causing it to pull left. Other than that there were no real issues. The GS suited a sidecar due to it's lower first and sixth gear and the 30 odd litre tank.
  I do miss it when I look at the photos though.

Many good memories with Bella on your travels Sean, She is so at home in the chair .
You can often see John travelling on his Burnt Orange R90s between Rutherford and Tomago , as he still does some engineering work at the smelter.
Look for the bloke with flouro socks hanging out the top of his boots .
