Had a great couple of days meeting much more experienced and very friendly and helpful K owners. Workshop session Saturday courtesy of Rossko was great to help in understanding how my 'new' bike is put together, with great hospitality from RT. The scones with jam & cream were great too.

Ride to Nowra and back to Kangaroo Valley was fun, and met more friendly K riders, though one seems to be half-hearted, having a Moto Guzzi as well.   

One of my failings is taking a while to remember names, and attaching them to the correct faces. Complicated by having to remember actual names as well as forum names. I'll get there gradually.

Wow. Feeling a bit bad now.
I did not contact Jim again after the failed meet up at Nowra.

His bike is now removed from gumtree and then I get a tweet about this.

It says he was baking scones and went out to meet some bike friends and didn't turn the oven off. Went to Nowra Bowling club as arranged???

Got my parts yet Rossko, I must owe you some dosh, and the seat don't feel right, so back to square one.

that's a shame Bob , thought you would have informed him that you already had a freshly baked batch at home , and he was welcome to share.
