Trying to revive a 85 k100rs with 70,000mi (bought for 500 bucks).  I bought it for the price, as well as to have something to put a Sprint Fairing on it...I tried the K75s but the cutouts for the cooling tubes didn't fit great, and I think the K75s fairing, though god aweful ugl,y is slick and cool.  I am adding it to my stable of beemers (87K75s, 88 K75S, 05 K1200s, 04 R1200c Montauk).

Actually, I don't like seeing them dismantled for profit when they should be ridden (there are enough used parts out there now); so two of them I picked out of the garbage, and one had title issues that I found a way around...they have minor issues, and need repainting, but then they will be ready for the next K enthusiast (just have to decide what to keep...besides the Montauk and a 75s)

Besides, wife gets a new car every 18 months...I get a K....and I am way ahead.
