No, but I have a set of those caps at home.
I tried to fix mine up years ago when I saw the price of new was over $300.

So is it the lead that breaks down or the cap?

welcome to try them.

If you're in the US you can get a good deal on Magnecor leads these days.  The price has gone up a bit but in August I bought a 2V K100 set for $51.30.  I bought some K75 ones and K11 ones too.  With shipping the total for all three sets was $155.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0057GEUWG/ref=pe_385040_30332200_pe_309540_26725410_item

I've been running them in two of my K1100s and one K75 for several years now and they work fine.

You can buy NGK 5K ohm caps for less than five dollars a piece, then access 7 or 8mm silicone leads of the right lengths for another several dollars each from an auto part supply house - remember not to use resisted caps on any K1100 because the sparkies should be resisted already - and for less than fifty dollars you've got a set of leads that you made yourveryownbadself. Mine are blue. I think Blakey's are red.

I forgot to mention that anything John Rayski from E.M.E. sells is good quality, OEM replacement stuff. I stock a fair few of his Bosch and Enduralast parts as options for those customers not wanting to 'lash out' price-wise for BMW's OEM parts. He does sell some Chinese stuff, but otherwise it's all higher quality, but he'll always spell it out if it's not 'genuine'. His Girl Friday, Jody, always gives good phone, too.

It's correct that K11's using resistor spark plugs.
But the genuine cables have also a 5 Kohm resistor in the cap, and a 1 Kohm resistor in the coil end.

Of course, Inge, I should have more clearly written that one should remember not to use resistor plugs in their K100!

I'm using NGKs on my 4v k100.  The first cylinder plug really likes to pop off sometimes, mostly on startup.  So much to the point that I cut a piece of wood and jammed it in there so it can't pop off.  Other than that, I like them much better than the stock metal caps.
