Hi all,

I learned to ride in the 70's in Afghanistan, and loved the Afghan BMW police bikes that rode about town..

Bought my first spanking brand new K100RT in 1985, and it's still running...  about 250K on the clock (miles)....

Also have a R80RS that I ride in the summer with about 200K on it's speedo..

This is a great Forum I have used tech posts now and again to help maintain the mighty K and appreciate the hosts and moderators time...
