Were there ever any after market (or genuine for that matter) tanks to increase capacity for our beloved bricks?

How many KMs are you blokes getting outta a fill up?

Wonder how hard it would be to fit a 100/1100/1150 GS tank and seat combo to a K100....hmmmm

Perhaps just carrying fuel bladders and putting them to use when needed would be wiser

I made an alloy ring to lift the cap about 10mm and that gives me around 1.5 lts more.

I took the fuel tank off the LT and looking at increasing the capacity too as I want to be able to do longer run s without refuelling. My maths suggest I will get an extra litre in for about 8mm increase in height or about 40mm for 5 litres. My problem is where to cut and weld in the riser.

The tank was damaged so its not like I am using a good tank.
