If you can get the injectors that have the 4 hole pintle apparently they give a power boost and better economy due to better atomization of the fuel.

Ordered these yesterday, as I saw they were being shipped from Turkey with cheap postage. Have to wait for the spring to test them live, but I will be doing a "lab setup" to check spray pattern etc. in December.colinijohnson wrote:...f27 delphi Buick Ford Lincoln types with the same spray pattern. They cost £12.50 each off Ebay!!! here's the link, they post worldwide.

I will as soon as the snow fades. We got a nice week of fair weather, and now back to the negatives.
Still getting the bike together.
Can you describe in detail the feel of the new injectors?
Bearing in mind my old ones where blocked from deposits off the fuel rail...previously I had my old injectors "proffessionally cleaned", at the time I had issues with getting the bike to tick over from cold....
With the new injectors, tickover was much improved. Revving the bike sounded turbine smooth in all states of engine "hot or cold". at 6000 revs its like swithching over to TURBO mode with a huge rush of fuel going in. Accelleration superb at this point. Smoother but not much difference before this. I reckon MPG is slightly better with the new injectors, but probably down a bit compared with original expensive new ones. I only get 40 uk mpg, and ride hard in london. Today I collect my bike after new TB rubbers replaced, and TB's cleaned, The ex BMW mecho always balances TB,s after. I'll report any major benefits.
My bike was stolen rcovered last summer, and as it had had lots of remedial work done (clutch, ram suspension, new cpu, oil pump, fuel lines etc etc) - I decided to use the insurance cash to buy the bike back and replace panels with resprayed ones including cockpit and get it up to scratch. I agreed a price with my mechanic, sourced the bodywork, and spent the balance of insurance cash on a trip to sunny Eygpt.
Now it will be A1 with everthing working I'll be loaved to part with it - although I may be tempted to buy a newer FJR1300 at some stage......
Returned yesterday and collect bike later today with all work done. cant wait, will post pics at some point .

Yeah, you'll feel the difference if you're running the OEM's that your bike rolled off the line with.
$80.00 USD, don't know what that'd translate to OZ though.

I use these guys BONVU for all those not to Aus shippers in the USA. Surprising what they will actually remail for you. Take advantage of the vendors free shipping to Texas and BOVU foward it on.too easy. takes a little longer and is trackable. Depends how much you really want the items. In most cases it still works out ok and still cheaper than buying from AUZ fleecers.AL-58 wrote:

many US vendors are like this for some reason.

Bosch OEM# 0280150210 Original single hole. These look to be made in Japan
Bosch OEM# 0280155870 Newer 4 hole nozzle. Prices seem to vary.
I'd be up for a set of 4 hole injectors also
Questions
- Anyone ordered anything thru these suppliers?
- If changing to 4 hole injector, does the engine need to be retuned?
Cheers
This looks like a minefield to me, I emailed two usa places, via ebay, one came back asking for OEM part numbers, the other with a link to a set for sale,Now Im also wondering if the fuel system or anything else needs retuning if one fits the 4 hole jobs...
Also Im on a K1, 16 Valve motor, wonder if that is different to your K1OOs...
Cheers Jeremy
I think the 16v K has a different setup. The injectors are in a slightly different position. The OEM# is stamped on the side of the injector casing. For the K100 1 hole injector it's Bosch OEM 0280155870. I think the 16v engines have a 4 hole injector but don't quote me on that.WandererK1 wrote:This looks like a minefield to me, I emailed two usa places, via ebay, one came back asking for OEM part numbers, the other with a link to a set for sale,Now Im also wondering if the fuel system or anything else needs retuning if one fits the 4 hole jobs...
